Information on Conference Contributions

Please note that you have to register for the conference before you can submit a symposium proposal, individual paper, or a poster. Payments can be made by bank transfer.

Cover abstracts for symposium proposal

A symposium consists of 4-5 talks, which should be described briefly in the cover abstract (duration of symposia: 90 minutes). Abstracts for talks can be in German or English and may not exceed 250 words (please use the same language within one symposium). The language of the abstract should also be the language of the presentation. Please use text only, and no images or links. Please note that each symposium must contain at least one contribution from a young scientist. In addition, speakers should not represent only a single research institution. The deadline for abstracts is  February 20. You will be notified about acceptance of the symposium by February 25. After a symposium is accepted, the review process of the abstracts that speakers should submit for their symposium talk (see Symposium talk) will start. Symposium talks that were not accepted can be submitted as poster submissions.

Symposium talk

Symposium talks can only be submitted as part of a registered symposium. For each talk within a symposium, an abstract has to be submitted by March 25. Abstracts can be in German or English and may not exceed 250 words (please use the same language within one symposium). The language of the abstract should also be the language of the presentation (German or English). Please use text only, and no images or links.

Poster submission

The submission of a poster requires a title and an abstract (max. 250 words). Abstracts may be in German or in English (according to the language of presentation). Please use text only, and no images or links. The deadline for poster abstracts is March 25. You will be notified about acceptance of the poster by the end of March. The maximum poster size is 1.4m (height) x 1.0m (width) and must be in portrait format (landscape format cannot be presented!). In addition, it is possible for all young scientists to submit their poster abstract to the “JuWis Posterblitz”.
